The most noticeable thing is how much having a filtered shower head improved the condition of my hair. Both my hairdresser and myself took serious note!
The water pressure is great, and the long hose is very practical for washing me, for washing small doggies in the tub and for rinsing down the entire shower area when cleaning.
It is well made--it has held up over three years and no leaks or other complaints. Wish the replacement filters weren't so pricey, but they all are, so what are you gonna do?

(More customer reviews)I bought this shower head in 2008 because reviewers said it was great for hard water areas. At the time we lived in the high desert in southern california and the water actually made our skin peel and break out. This shower head and timely replacement of the filters worked out great for us. It lasted exactly two years (at the time we paid $43 for it) before the adjustment ring broke. I turned it on recently and water was spraying out all around the ring. Sprite responded to my email quickly and offered for me to send it in for repair.
This shower head has excellent water pressure and the three settings are just what you need without the useless "rain shower" type settings or massage settings so hard that no one ever uses them.

(More customer reviews)I have had this shower filter for two years and now it is destined for a landfill. It looks as thought it is chrome but the connector piece is plastic and so is the body that houses the filter. This shower head is very fragile and broke twice on me. Once while adjusting the angle of the shower head the connector piece snapped in two and the second when attempting to change the filter the body of the shower head cracked. It is a shame that the durability of the product is so poor because it is an effective filter.

The part that holds the shower head arm broke the second time I used the shower... We got two - the one in the guest bath is looser so that one is okay... The one that broke in our master bath was a lot tighter, and I went to adjust it and it just snapped. My husband went to Home Depot and got a new generic attachment for about $7, so it's fine... except that this says "chrome" which is nothing more than a cheap decal over plastic... Nowhere here or on any site that sells this is that made clear.
For less money, next time I'd get the other brand w/ the charcoal filter...which is also PLASTIC... but at least for less money!
I also have to agree w/ another reivewer of the charcoal filters... unless you have an alergy or really sensitive skin, the filter isn't going to do too much that is noticable... my hair comes out pretty much the same (on the dry frizzy side until I get product in it and use my flat iron).
