The only downfall less than a month later could be a manufacturing defect, but when relaxing and watching television one night we heard a huge crash. It seems one of the rivets that hold the latch on came off. I wouldn't go through the trouble of returning since I would hate to uninstall and have nothing there at all, so I just used a piece coax-cable copper-core to make a hinge and hold the latch on. If I knew how to inspect this type of product, I would have probably noticed the defect and returned before installing.
