These are NOT Kawasaki brand OEM filters, as the name implies. They are less-expensive knock-offs; which is OK if that's what you're looking for. Unfortunately, this product is deceptively labeled "Kawasaki/49065-2078" to imply they ARE Kawasaki filters. That comes perilously close to outright fraud, IMO, and not only deserves 1 star because of that, but Amazon should require the vendor to either to clarify the "brand" in the ad, or drop the product altogether.
These filters are also sold by dozens of Internet vendors, and unsurprisingly, their product photos hide the "brand".
If you want an OEM quality 49065-2078 filter, buy from an Internet vendor that shows a photo of a Kawasaki filter (e.g., see Customer Images), and says their filters are the Kawasaki brand. Or, buy the made-in-USA Kawasaki brand filter from Amazon: Max Power 334298 Oil Filter Kawasaki 49065-2078, 49065-2071 Other American companies make OEM-quality filters with well known brand names, such as Oregon and Cub Cadet. K&N Engineering sells a high performance version; Google Shopping search on: K&N 49065-2078
Fit-wise, these filters are interchangeable with the OEM Kawasaki 49065-2078.
