(More customer reviews)I love the clear view of what is in the bag so I know when to empty it. Saves a lot of mess, just tie and toss. However, I found that the bags are difficult to install because the bag kept slipping off the retaining ring when I tried to insert the ring into the housing. Finally resorted to a few pieces of duct tape to hold it and got it into place.

(More customer reviews)Description was not clear. I expected a slip on filter and what was received is a sheet that is taped on. It was bought to go on a craftsman shop vac and it does not cover the entire filter. Probably my fault for not paying more attention to the description.

(More customer reviews)I just love my two Miele cannister vacuums, they're great. We live on all tile floors with 10 dogs and a few cats, so everyday I vacuum up a ton of animal hair, and I go through vacuum bags quite frequently. I'm not paying $19 for four bags, that's ridiculous! I e-mailed Miele, they told me about how much better filtration the new bags afforded. I explained that filtration quality means nothing when cleaning very coarse animal hair. I'm not living in a "clean Room" at Intel!
I noticed that Bosch has also raised their cannister bag prices, so maybe it's a German thing. I started buying generic "FJM" 5 bags for $10 from Amazon, which work just fine. These cheap bags have a cardboard connection at top, instead of plastic, but doesn't matter. So I'm happy now. I'm not paying $5 per Miele bag!
