(More customer reviews)This intake provides your basic needs for a Cold Air Intake. The piping is light but feels pretty strong. All the hoses fit perfectly. The filter is your basic cone filter, one just like it can be bought at any local auto parts store. Everything was packaged very well and taken very good care of. The product looks great underneath the hood, the chrome really pops.
My two favorite things about this product are the fact that the system allows you to place the intake filter below the engine bay just infront of the left front wheel. This keeps you away from sucking in the air which is heated by the engine and ensures you are actually picking up the cold air you want.
The second thing I like about this product is that it leads straight to the throttle body. The last system I bought for the Camaro simply connected to the factory plastic system. I wanted that direct air flow.
The package was shipped on time although it did take about 6 days to arrive. The directions are fairly poor and have no visuals to assist the vague wording. Luckily this is a very easy install so one should not need the directions for anything more than a guide.
Two more notes, the stock Air Temp Sensor can be used with the new system, the company provides a new rubber housing. It can be a pain to remove from the stock setup. Finally, don't forget to lubricate the filter before you install it with Air Filter Oil (the product does not come with it).
All in all, a good buy!
